West Yellowstone Fly Fishing Guides
Greater Yellowstone is the home to some of the best guides in the business. We are proud to call many of them friends and colleagues. At Lost Fork Outfitters, we have dedicated our lives to the sport, we are career guides, not students spending a summer “guiding.” Our experience, passion for the pursuit and the beautiful places and creatures that come with it, will enhance your experience and your appreciation of fly fishing.
Fishing Experiences for All Levels
No matter if you have years of experience or you’ve never fished before, we are here to instruct and guide you through a successful fly fishing trip. We welcome kids, seniors, families, singles, first-timers and old hands. Different languages, abilities, and backgrounds are no problem. Our goal is to exceed your expectations.
Yellowstone Fishing Trips
The beauty and majesty of Yellowstone National Park offers a unique setting for fly fishing trips. The variety of fishing options in Yellowstone sets it apart from any other fly fishing destination in the world. From swinging streamers to migratory brown trout on the Madison, to fishing attractor dry flies to four inch brook trout.
We strive to pass on our passion and respect for the area we are so lucky to call home. We are more than fly fishing guides, we are stewards of the ecosystem. We practice catch and release and fish exclusively with barbless hooks.

Pat Bond – Owner of Lost Fork Outfitters
Pat began guiding in Montana in 1997, shortly after graduating from Fort Lewis College in Durango Colorado. He spends most of the summer either floating the Madison or exploring Yellowstone’s backcountry. Pat spends his winters fishing saltwater and walking in pretty country with his bird dogs Willie and Rudy.
Zach Hoy – Lost Fork Outfitters Guide
Zach grew up fishing in Wisconsin. He attended University of Montana where he fished extensively in Missoula before moving to Alaska to begin his guiding career. For the past several years, Zach has been a guide in Montana and Yellowstone National Park, guiding on world-class waters like the Madison, Yellowstone, Missouri, and the back country of Yellowstone Park.
